L'Entremetteuse, 'Rouge Gorge', Semillon, Colchagua, Chile, 2020

Organic

What’s not to love honestly about Semillon. Medium bodied, low acidity, deliciously mineral… ahh the list goes on.

Chile has been for many years a country filled with exceptional value, a miriad of styles and lots of exciting things in the pipeline for sure.

Semillon is a grape that has its origins in Bordeaux France, and its often used to produce some of the worlds greatest sweet wine in Sauternes.

This wine is made from direct pressings from grapes grown on granite soils. The fermentation is carried out with indiginous yeasts then aged in french oak for 6 months.

The wine has fresh fruit driven flavours of lemon juice, golden apples, freshly cut grass, with the palate showing a textured body and lively yet low acidity. It keeps you coming back for more and more.

Utterly delicious!
